Dan Kindlon is a nationally-renowned educational psychologist specializing in the cognitive and emotional development of children and adolescents. He spent 20 years as a researcher and consulting psychologist to independent schools and was a member of the Harvard University faculty from 1985-2010. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed academic journal articles and four books, including the 1999 NY Times bestseller, Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys. (co-authored with Michael Thompson).
